Gone are the days of keyword stuffing. Sentences actually need to make sense now. Optimise your website by ensuring that any published content is easy to read and digest. Natural keyword inclusion is acceptable, but make the readers your first priority, not the keywords. While there plenty of differences between SEO and content marketing, there are also many areas where they overlap. Taking advantage of this overlap and using it in your website is the quickest way to get more people to visit your site. No-follow links are approximately the standard, yet there are modes and spaces to obtain a do-follow link entirely free. Relevance is the key issue when choosing the right
keywords. Keep in mind that the more specific and niche
the keywords, the better.
SEO is Seriously Effortful Optimization
Producing content that ranks well is clearly an important part of writing for SEO. But it’s also about turning those visitors into paying customers. Google will follow your links, Do your mathematical analysis - the primary resources are there for the taking. Its as easy as KS2 Maths or ABC. Its that simple! the post and pages that have the most internal links will be most likely to rank high in the search engines. Google historically has looked for ‘exact match’ instances of keyword phrases on documents and SEO have, historically, been able to optimise successfully for these keyword phrases – whether they are grammatically correct or not. The content on your site should be organized in a logical way. This is not only good for SEO, it also helps visitors on your site find other related content easily.
How are you supposed to audit your content?
In Google search results, you only have space for 70 characters in your title. If your title is longer than that, it gets truncated (meaning the end will be “….”). (Previous estimates put this number at 50 to 60 characters, but Google recently expanded the width of the search results, and therefore can show slightly longer titles.) Search engines (and users) look to the site architecture for clues as to what pages are most important. A key factor is how many clicks from the home page it takes to reach a page A 301 redirect, or also known as a permanent redirect, should be put in place to permanently redirect a page. The word ‘permanent’ is there to imply that ALL qualities of the redirected page will be passed on to the detour page. It’s important to keep in mind that if search engine traffic is your only goal, your results will probably suffer. In order to please both the search engines (who will reward you with high rankings over time) and potential customers and return visitors, you need to offer value above and beyond search engine optimization. In other words, don’t produce “thin” content that ranks and get clicks, but doesn’t provide any additional value to the search engine user.
Searchers are typically looking for an address, phone number, hours of operation, or a menu
External links are links from websites other than your own. Google relies heavily on external links to determine how good a post is. And this makes sense, doesn't it? You can talk about yourself and your own skills all day long, but no one will believe you. But as soon as other people begin bragging about you, others take notice. You should refrain from writing articles that are too sensitive or controversial such as adult oriented articles and vulgarity. Keep it simple, keep it direct and informative. That is the best type of article to deliver. I think that ranking number one these days, is more about market share and visibility than just ranking number one for an industry term. According to SEO Consultant, Gaz Hall: "Setting the value of the "rel" attribute of a link to "nofollow" will
tell Google that certain links on your site shouldn't be followed
or pass your page's reputation to the pages linked to.
Nofollowing a link is adding rel="nofollow" inside of the link's anchor
On its own, content does nothing for your business
SEO is marketing. It’s important that it be presented and treated as such, no matter how important a technical foundation is to the discipline. If your keyword appears a few times in your content, that sends a relevancy signal to Google, but avoid stuffing your content with keywords and only mention them 3-5 times. Contextual link building -- links that are surrounded by text in the body of content -- have a higher SEO value than links that appear in the footer or sidebar. If your site had a stable flow of traffic and then it began to bounce in an instant, it’s obvious something suspicious is going on. Luckily, Google Search Console can help you notice a sudden spike or drop in search traffic so make sure you use it.
