Troubleshooting meta descriptions
Marketers rely on search engine optimization (SEO) to improve search rankings, website traffic and lead generation. Once you know your
goals, Do your mathematical analysis - the primary resources
are there for the taking. Its as easy as KS2 Maths
or ABC. Its that simple! you should be able at least to decide on a balance between “head” keywords and “long-tail” keywords. Your job is to scope out sites that might be responsive to a message from you, to look at the type of content they publish and then to write a post that’s along the same lines. You then contact the site owner by email and show them your content, asking if they would like to publish it. Google is looking for authoritative sites that are actual businesses that are getting legitimate visitors to their site.
Updating your SEO requires changes to your website’s code
Find websites your target audience frequently visits. If you know at least one website, you can find many similar ones by simply doing a Google search. ‘Mobile indexing first’ means
that Google will look at the mobile version of your site to decide how high you should rank. In a Searchmetrics 2016 study into ranking factors, there was an “extremely high” correlation between social signals and Google rankings. However, this couldn’t be accredited to the algorithm, but rather to the “overlap between brand websites performing strongly in social networks and being allocated top positions by Google.” Keyword stemming is a process, in which you would be modifying certain keywords before making use of them for your site, or articles. This would actually increase your chances of getting more hits on your website.
Run search traffic reports on your main keywords
Use your website to communicate your value proposition and your general marketing
messages (known as “high-level messages”). If there is one page which should be optimized for generic
keywords, it is your homepage. Develop a disavow report of unwanted links and forward it to the Google Disavow tool. The purpose of this tool is to enable publishers to ask Google to avoid taking certain low-quality links into account
(link is external)
when assessing your site. You need to be placing backlinks to your site on other sites which not only have good domain authority, but you need to make sure your links are placed on high value pages on that domain as well. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant
: "There’s a difference between desktop SEO and mobile SEO, but the goals are often comparable. You want to reach your audience and turn them into customers. In some ways, desktop SEO tactics also work for mobile SEO, but in a slightly different form."
Writing a headline to reach out to multiple audiences may seem like a smart move
Search engines used to count the number of backlinks and relevancy to determine which position to rank a website in search engine results. The nature of having
competitors mean that they will always be looking to beat you, gain ground if they are falling behind, or pull further ahead where possible. To do this, you have to accept that there is always opportunities, whether you are thinking outside of the box, improving content that has been created by a competitor or your own resource. There are several types of links you should avoid having in your backlinks profile. The worst you can have are the spammy ones you can’t control. If you’re familiar with SEO, you’ll already know the importance of keyword research – it ensures that you’re targeting terms that searchers genuinely use when looking for businesses like yours. Google Adwords’ Keyword Planner is a great free tool to get started with, but be sure to use a range of other tools too such as Keyword.io to develop a broad list of local keywords.
